Honours at inter school On the Spot' Painting Competition

Some painters transform the sun into a yellow spot, others transform a yellow spot into the sun ~ Pablo Picasso

St. Mark's Sr. Sec. Public School conducted its 21st St. Marks Annual Inter School On the Spot Painting Competition, in online mode, using Microsoft Teams on 7 November, 2020. The competition was open for classes I to XII. More than 50 schools participated in this online painting competition.

As many as 18 students of our school embarked on the colourful journey. The participants were:

Paakhi Sharma (I-D), Mehar Arora (I-B), Chitrakshi Singhal (II-E), Md. Alman (II-D), Shreyanshi Chowdhury (III-B), Samarth Sovani (III-C), Adrika Choudhary (IV-D), Arnav Gupat (IV-D), Manha Furqan (V-A), Ishaan Gupta (V-A), RishitaGuharoy (VI-C), Dhruv Chawla (VI-A), Gaauresh Paul (VIII-E), Anushka Gosh (IX-C), Nyonika Katiyar (IX-C), Huma Saifi (X-A), Nandini Patel (X B) and Dakshita Chauhan (XI-D)

The following topics were given for the different class levels.

For classes I - II- Me and My Pet, My Toy Room, Butterfly in the Garden

For classes III-V Kite Flying, Valley of Flowers, Celebration at my Home.

For classes VI-VIII School Library, Historical Place, View from my Window

For classes IX-XII Covid Migration, Moonlight Scene, Music Concert.

The results of the competition were declared on 20 December 2020 where Shreyanshi Chowdhury (III-B), Ishaan Gupta (V-A), RishitaGuharoy (VI-C), Nyonika Katiyar (IX-C), Huma Saifi (X-A) and Dakshita Chauhan (XI-D) were awarded the Special Prize.

The students found the experience very delightful.
