A team of 13 students of our School went to Sanskriti School on 1st October 2016 to participate in the annual technology event, Project Beta. This was the third edition of the event and was organised by the IT department of the host school. Our School participated in five events.
These were: 1. Code Casino (the coding competition)- Here our team reached the Second Level 2. 64 Wits ( technology quiz) -This contest required knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and brands in the IT field. The participants were asked to offer an idea for an unreleased gadget from any of the Tech-Giants.
3. Untitled ( movie-making competition)- This event required knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and brands in the IT field. They were asked to propose an idea for an unreleased gadget from any of the Tech-Giants. 4. Classified ( surprise event)-This consisted of 12 teams of 2 participants each, who were asked to come up with an idea for a startup and create its logo using a certain programming language which they were expected to learn online in an hour! In the second level, they were expected to look for components of a PC and come up with a model for a PC under Rs. 70,000. Sukrit Gupta and Manav Arora were awarded the first position in this event. 5. 60 fps ( gaming competition)- This was the gaming event and also the most enthusiasm-filled event consisting of 6 players who competed in the Call of Duty Black Ops 2 on the PC and console.
