IMPECCABLE 2020-21

Our School conducted an intra school commerce event, " Impeccable 2020-21", on 18 November, 2020. The competition was organised for the students of classes XI and XII and held on virtual platforms - Google Meet and Discord. Aryan Chhajer, Dhruv Kambiri and Nishit Sharma of class XII undertook to organise the event with the guidance of their teacher, Mr Ramesh Kumar. The event witnessed the participation of 90 students from all the three streams-Commerce, Humanities and Science. It featured five events that focused on critical and idea-based thinking.

START-UP CLASH

The event gave the students a platform to present their ideas (related to starting a business) before potential investors. It didn't just benefit the participants but also the "organisers" as it made them aware of several things which they didn't know of but were informed of in the course of the event. It was a great event and a successful one too!

The winners were - Paakhi Rajpal, Leisha Maini, and Palak Panwar (XI)

Runners up - Divija Puri, Avreen Kaur, Shudhanshu Mishra, and Vedika Srivastava (XII)

MARKETING GENIUS

The event provided students with a platform to showcase their marketing skills. A category of goods was allotted to each team and they had to advertise the product with the help of a power point presentation. The "campaigns" were judged on the basis of their delivery, content, and creativity. It provided the participants with an opportunity to enhance their interpersonal skills as well.

INDIANITE PREMIER LEAGUE

The event enabled students to showcase their knowledge about the game of cricket. Each team was given an amount of money with which to acquire a stadium and a minimum of 7 players. The students were then judged on the basis of the current and previous year's performances. This novel experience provided the students with an opportunity to enhancr their knowledge of the game and also learn to use money optimally.

The winners were Aryan Chawla and Khushal Shukla (XI)

Runners up - Devansh Boi and Aditya Badola (XI)

MOCKSTOCK

The event comprised a virtual stock market where participants bought or sold stocks based on the information flashed on screens. The winning team was decided on the basis of the value of its portfolio. There were 12 teams and the event was divided into three rounds, at the end of which the team earning the maximum profit was declared winner. The event helped students gain insight into the working of the stock market.

BIZ-QUIZ

The Biz-Quiz event tested the participants' knowledge of commerce and enhanced quizzing skills. The questions were posed in a power point presentation and participants were required to answer via Google Forms.

The winners were Kashish Jadwani and Ronit Gujral (XII)

Runners up Anshita Anand and Srishti Gupta (XI)

The event was a learning experience for both, the organisers as well as the participants. The event exposed the students to the various aspects of commerce as a discipline and provided them an opportunity to test their knowledge in simulated situations.
