MNEMOSYNE, 2012
Gyan Bharati School, Saket hosted a literary fest, MNEMOSYNE2012, on 18August, 2012 at which our Schoolparticipated in 2 events: the Literary Quiz and the Debate. 15 leading schools of Delhi like DPS R.K Puram, Summerfield, KR Mangalam etc., took part in the events. The judges were Ms. Jayshree Chowdhury, Asst. Prof. College of Vocational Studiedand Ms. Bharti Biswas, Prof. Dept. of English, D.U. Our enthusiastic quizzers from classes 9 and 10 were Shruti Bihani and Arpita Saggar. They pitched valiantly in the Preliminary round to secure first place.Anmol Arora, Ummang Sharma Bajpai and Nakul Chodha of classes 11 and 12 cemented our debating prowess at the competition to speak for the motion,Terrorism isborn out of need and not greed. They easily qualified for the final round whose topic was The world of literature has dissolved in todays world of technology.
