Special assembly, " Birth at Bethlehem " by class 2 E.

The students of class 2E presented a special assembly on Christmas. The whole class was involved in the event with each one was dressed in his and her casual best. A brief introduction of the theme was offered by Ananya Majumdar. This waa followed by a skit on the birth of Lord Jesus. The students of classes 4 and 5 too lent a shoulder by becoming narrators for the same.

A special choir was also assembled to insert musical relief in the skit to give the effect of a mini-musical!

The characters in the skit included Mary, Joseph, the angel, the innkeepers, animals in the stable, and the shepherds. First was a dramatised journey to Bethlehem and then a group dance heralded the Birth. Carols played along as Adil of class 10, attired as Santa, surprised the children and plodded them all to dance.

Ms. Neena Maini, Head Teacher then concluded the occasion with her Christmas wishes for the children as also accolades to them for a mention-worthy effort. Filed by Ruchi Chawla, primary teacher.
