A skit based on a dialogue between a mother and her daughter was enacted by students wherein the daughter enquires about Ravana. Her mother then tells her the story of the Ramayana. The story was narrated in a video presentation and included the homecoming of Lord Rama.

Students were dressed up as characters in the great epic-King Dasharath, Lord Ram, Sita, Laxman, Hanuman and Ravana. Each character spoke the lines very confidently. They then enthralled their classmates with their group dance to the song Luv Kush Seeta Rama.A poignant renderingof the popular verses sung on the occasion had the audience very engaged. Other songs like, Ram bade veer the and Aaj Dussehra khushi manao were also sung as the audience clapped along.

In class, thestudents were shown a PPT on Dussehra and a quiz was then conducted which was enjoyed by all. They drew an image of Ravana as they visualised him in their drawing books.

The primary objective of the show was to convey to the students, the timeless moral that no matter how clever you are, if you let yourself become proud and arrogant, your pride will be the reason of your downfall. It was explained that Ravana had the knowledge of 10 heads but his pride and wrongdoing became the cause of his defeat. Through the story, using various visual aids the students were taught the enduring values that are associated with Dussehra.
