Story Telling workshop by author, Ms. Vinita Zutshi.

Our School participated in the Cambridge Young Writers Essay Competition held on May 6th, 2016. Siddharth Khati of VC was awarded a certificate of merit for his essay in English. Children of 20 schools across Delhi participated in this event. As a token of appreciation, Siddharth was invited to the Cambridge School on 26th July, 2016 to meet Ms. Vinita Zutshi, storyteller and writer, for an interactive session. 10 other schools from Delhi and the NCR were also invited to the story-telling session. [gallery link="file"] The interactive session with Ms. Zutshi began with her asking each participant about his/ her reading habits. Next she announced a creative writing topic, What would happen if you were alone in your house with no means of communication? and we were asked to quickly develop a short imaginative piece. It was fun imagining ourselves in the situation and writing our thoughts down. We were then asked to read aloud what we had written to everyone present. Ms. Zutshi then gave us interesting tips on how to improve our writing. She also suggested how to choose books to read. The workshop concluded with Ms. Zutshi handing out certificates to all participants. Siddharth Khati V-C.
