Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Asias largest IT services' company, in 1999 launched an educational programme titled TCS IT Wiz to reach out to school students studying in classes 8 to 12. The aim is to build awareness, IT skills besides providing a window to the world of Information Technology.
Today TCS IT Wiz has become a national benchmark for the level of research, the intensity with which teams compete and the sheer participation number it draws.
This year TCS organized IT Wiz at IIT Delhi on 16 November 2013 .We reached the venue at around 9 am to join the other participants. As many as 950 students from various schools across Delhi and NCR participated in the event. The quiz was hosted by noted quizmaster Giri Balasubramaniam popularly known as Pickbrain.
