Mathematics is an exact and definite science that disciplines and trains the mind. It is a valuable and powerful tool that emphasises argument, reasoning, logical analysis and explanation.
To test and hone their mathematical skills, 15 students of The Indian School participated in the inter-school mathematics talent test Mathability held on Saturday, 26 June 2021. The competition was hosted online on Microsoft Forms by Gyan Bharati School, Saket.
The Indianite virtual contingent comprised of five students each, from classes VI, IX and XII. The test consisted of 40 MCQs. Each question was for 2.5 marks. The young, analytical minds engaged in the two-hour-long battle of numbers from 9 am 11am.
The results were declared on 5 July 2021. Aditya Kandpal of class IX A secured the Second Position by scoring 97.5 out of 100, while Suryaanshu Gupta of class IX D came in Third Position by scoring 95 out of 100.
The School is proud of its bright and brilliant young mathematicians and looks forward to winning more laurels in the future.
