As we all know experience is the best teacher. and Schools today provide several opportunities to experience and explore new things. Inter school events are one such means which provide us with the opportunity to stretch our breadths.
The Zonal Science Exhibition 2016-17 was held on 8 September, 2016 at the Government Girls' Senior Secondary School, Pushp Vihar. Participants of 30 schools across Delhi gathered on the occasion with their models and exhibits.
[gallery link="file"]The participants from our School were Shweta Singh and Bhumika Narang of class XI. The theme was Innovations in Renewable Resources for Sustainable Development.
Shweta Singh exhibited a working model of a Photocatalytic Reactor used for water purification while Bhumika Narang showcased a working model of a Solar Powered Underground Irrigation System. Other themes by participants related to Health, Industry, Transport and Communication, Innovation in Food Production and Food security and Mathematical Solutions in Everyday Life.
