Summer internship for class 11 Commerce students 2024
The Commerce students of classes XI-C and XI-E attended a week-long internship at Angus Montgomery in South Court, Saket-India Art Fair, New Delhi from 28 to 31 May 2024. The participants in the internship were Pari Nad, Aastha Arora, Shagun Singh, and Naysa Saini.
On the first day, the students were introduced to Ms Tania Munjal and other team members of the India Art Fair. They received information about the fair, including details such as the venue, date, partners and its map, and were shown related images. The students explored the official website and participated in a Q&A session with Ms Munjal.
On the second day, the students delved deeper into the fair website to understand its workings. Naysa and Shagun researched on brand partners, while Pari and Aastha focused on programmes and exhibitors. They discussed their findings with Ms Munjal.
The third day was dedicated to learning how to prepare a budget and plan an event, with an emphasis on sustainable practices, as explained by Ms Munjal. On the fourth day, the students were tasked with planning a school event and creating a budget. They discussed their ideas with Ms Munjal, who provided valuable suggestions based on her experience. At the end of the day, the students filled out a feedback form and had a closing discussion with Mr Fazal Ahmed and Ms Munjal.
