Adventure camp for Pre school and Pre primary

On 18th March, 2017 an adventure camp was organised for Pre-Primary and Pre-school children at School. It was a day camp that offered a welcoming, lively, safe, positive and diverse environment where children could gain new confidence and self-esteem.

The camp exposed to the young campers to a variety of challenging and exciting activities. The children arrived bubbling with excitement as they headed to participate in adventure activities for the first time. Many activities that enhance the gross motor skills were set up on the field. As soon as the teachers brought the children to the field, they were directed to begin with the course of activities that set to test physical abilities.

The different activities which the children enjoyed were the Commando net, the Commando crawl, Burma bridge, artificial river crossing, Trampoline, Parallel rope, Ladder climbing, the Mogli climb, Ladder walk, Balance beam, Hanging tyres, and artificial wall climbing. The children were particularly delighted when they completed each task. Every activity aimed at honing a different skill. The little ones managed to cross the Burma bridge quite confidently. There were two adults from the organising committee who took care of the groups of children that undertook the task. The activity that was enjoyed the most was the artificial river crossing.

The students were full of zeal and enthusiasm through the camp. They completed the tasks fully. The day was indeed spent well and the little campers carried back many happy memories. In fact they only reluctantly agreed to return !
