Art festival at Springdales School

Four talented Indianities participated in an inter school  On-the-Spot painting festival organised by Springdales School, Pusa Road on 3 February 2025. The students were given two hours to create their piece of creativity. Around  60 students  from 10 schools of classes III-VIII participated in the event. The competition was divided into 3 categories. Category I (5-8 years), Category II (9-11 years), Category III (12-14 years).

The participants from The Indian School were – Anjana Bera (class 4), Aarav Arora (class 6 ), Aharshi Dey and Aaishi Sengupta (both of class 7 ). The competition aimed to encourage creativity among students through meaningful themes. The topics given to participants were:

• Democratic values for peace

• Say no to intolerance, inequality, and racism

• Sustainable development & peace

• Human rights for all

• A world without boundaries

• Heal the world

• Peace knows no boundaries

The positive feedback from participants and audience underscores the festival's importance as a vital cultural event in the community, creating an environment where art can be appreciated, critiqued, and celebrated. The event achieved its objectives of fostering creativity, celebrating diverse artistic expressions, and bringing together artists and audiences in an engaging, vibrant setting. Over the course of the event, attendees had the opportunity to experience a wide array of art forms.
