Assembly to mark the start of a new academic session

On March 30th 2016, the first assembly of the academic year 2016-17 for classes 1 to 3 was held in the School auditorium. The children along with their new class teachers gathered in the auditorium by 7:35 am. The assembly started with the School choir singing the prayer, Tum Jal Thal Mein, Aur Pal Pal Mein.

After the prayer, Ms. Neena Maini, Head Teacher welcomed the children and congratulated each of them on graduating to a higher class. She then had an interactive session with the children where she asked them questions on how they had spent their Holi break, how they felt about returning to School and what they thought of their new classes. She also encouraged the children to attempt to participate in as many activities as possible in the new session. She asked every class to name their class teacher in order to ensure the little ones knew their classes and their teachers. This was followed by Ms. Mahima Kapoor welcoming the children with a beautiful poem titled Welcome by Amy Tevelthuis. Ms. Priyanka Malhotra then briefed them about the code of conduct they needed to maintain while at School. The assembly concluded with the children singing the School song. Ms. Mahima Kapoor.
