The children entrusted to our care are like seeds that lap up the nourishment of good values, loveand learning As a part of our constant endeavourto achieve the holistic development of our children, a special assembly was conducted on 9 July 2014 in the school auditorium. The assembly aimed at sensitising the children about the importance of a healthy environment.
The assembly started with an invocation which was chanted by the children in gusto. Later the children of class 1-B enacted scenes from everyday life which offer the message of keeping our surroundings clean, not polluting the water by throwing dirty waste in it, stopping the cutting of trees etc. They also sang rhymes specially composed with the same message.
The children thoroughly enjoyed the programme even as they quietly, yet carefully absorbed what they heard and saw. Several of them could be seen animatedly sharing their observations as they left the hall.
