CBSE Heritage Quiz

On 22Novembar, 2012, a heritage quiz was conducted by CBSE at Springdales School, Pusa Road.   IshaVajpeyi, Ishan Mehandru and Kriti Dang of class 11 participated in the quiz and were accompanied by Ms. Charu Bhatnagar. This was the regional qualifying round with 50 schools taking part from Delhi and NCR. The quiz master was one Pranab Mukherjee who has a record of having conducted more than 2000 quizzes! The questions covered a wide spectrum about Indian heritage. Which was the first Indian brand to receive a GI tag?, Who founded the Rock Street Journal?, Name the deity who is considered the keeper of dogs " etc were some of the questions asked. Answering 30 questions in 25 minutes was really a tall task for the students.   6 teams qualified in a unforgettably enriching exercise. By IshaVajpeyi,Kriti DangandIshan Mehandru, class 11C.
