A two-day workshop, Capacity Building Programme for Accountancy was held on 21and 22 November 2019 at the N. K. Bagrodia Public School, Dwarka. The workshop was conducted by Messrs S.S. Sherawat and Ashish Sawhney. A good number of teachers from different schools availed of the opportunity.
The main objective of the workshop was to teach the participating teachers new ways of inculcating and enhancing the interest in the subject amongst the students. The first day of the session focused on the recent changes in the syllabus, setting of question papers for class XII, teaching pedagogies, typology of the questions and the expectations of the CBSE regarding the answers. The queries regarding the same were dealt with in detail.
[gallery link="file" order="DESC"]On the second day, there was a discussion on the design of question papers, project work and how Accountancy can be made more interesting for students. It was suggested that games like the Tambola, Crossword, Unscramble, Search the word in the grid and even role play can engage the students.
The principal of the host school applauded the interest shown by the enthusiastic participants and the initiative of the CBSE to arrange the informative workshop to enrich the learning experience of the teachers.
