On 14th November 2014, four students, Abdullah Malik, Sukrit Gupta, Vikramaditya Bhatnagar and Pranati Haldia participated in the 4th edition of CENTQUEST- an inter-school quiz. It was organized at Kamani Auditorium by the Central Bank of India. The Quiz was held as a part of the Bank's Childrens Day celebration and commemoration of the 125th birth anniversary of Indias first Prime Minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru.It was a general quiz encompassing questions from sports, science, history, geography, films, music, art, entertainment, business and culture besides others. The quiz had a slight slant towards Indian and global icons who have been torchbearers of change and reform. Over the past 100 years the Bank has been involved in many pathbreaking initiatives and has offered innovative financial solutions to society at large. The moderators for this event were the very popular quizmasters, Messrs. Arindam Bhattacharya and Parnab Mukherjee. Over 200 schools participated, including Air Force Bal Bharti, Modern School Vasant Vihar, Modern School Barakhamba Road and The Air Force School besides others. Our team reached the finals and came out 7th of 250 teams and we were awarded 'Certificates of Distinction' for the same. It was a great opportunity to enhance one's knowledge and expand one's learning!
