Childrens Day celebrations in Pre primary

There is no garden as beautiful as Childhood. Every child is like a flower; together they make this world a beautiful garden.

Childrens Day commemorates the birth anniversary of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru and his affection for children. Through his political career, Pandit Nehru was an ardent advocate of childrens rights and privileges. This year, it was the 65th Childrens Day.

We observed the occasion on 18 November, 2019 at our School. Several programmes for the children were organised by the teachers. The classrooms were decorated with coloured balloons. In the auditorium the stage was set for performances by the teachers to entertain and delight the children. Sweets and chocolates were also distributed among the children.

The mesmerising performance of the day was songs sung by the Pre Primary teachers. The power-packed performance set the stage on alight! The students were overwhelmed to see their teachers perform for them! They cheered loudly scarcely able to contain their great delight! School was abuzz with excitement and joy.

The culmination of the assembly was the icing on the cake for the students, as they shook matched step to their favourite songs.
