Circle Time Activity (IX-D and IX-E)

As circle time activity during the zero period, we had 3 talks organised weekly by students of classes 9D andE in the AV room on topics from current affairs. The first talk was on The Greece Crisis. During this talk the students got to know about the financial problem that Greece is facing currently. They got to know the causes that have led to the grave situation and what effect it is causing on other countries. Also, the steps that need to be taken to overcome this situation were discussed.

The second talk was based on BRICS and the objective of its formation and the plans for it were explained. The third talk was about the Article 370 which has granted special status to Jammu and Kashmir. The students learnt about the history of the article and why was it incorporated in the constitution. They also got to know more about the current problems in the state and possible solutions. All these sessions were very interactive. In fact they were extremely animated and asked many questions. It was intended to be peer learning, where students taught and learnt from each other.
