On 9th February 2017, students of class 5 of The Indian School accompanied by teachers of The Foundation School, jointly spent time with students of the nearby MCD school to spread awareness on saving the environment by learning to recycle items of daily use in the home.
[gallery link="file"]Ms. S. Aswani first introduced everyone and the nukkad natak, which then presented by the students of class 5. During the skit, students were oriented about the harmful effects of pollution and how we can all contribute to reducing air, noise and water pollution. Teachers of The Foundation School presented a demonstration of making planters in plastic bottles and bags from used paper. The students were also involved in decorating the paper bags. The material required was carried by us and the children were delighted to creating the exciting yet useful craft.
