Class Assembly on Animals by Pre-school Kokab.

PS-KOKAB presented a class assembly on Animals on the brisk winter morning of 22 January, 2014. The assembly aimed to introduce the children to different animals, their young ones, their food and habitat. Raghuv Khurana, introduced the subject followed by his classmates, who came forward by turn to speak a few lines on the different species of wild animals.

Manya Dhingra then spoke about the importance of pets followed by her classmates, who, in turn came forward to talk about the different kinds of pet animals.

The children were also introduced to water animals. These were introduced by Nikhil Rajakumar followed by his classmates who spoke about the different kinds of water animals.

An appropriate rhyme accompanied each articulation. All the children looked radiant in their animal costumes. It was a very reassuring to see the children confidently speak the lines as they held the mike. Attractive handmade props like cut- outs, head-bands and sashes, made in the classroom added colour. The audience, which were the PS and PP children sat to attention, carefully watching with interest.
