An inter-section scrabble competition was held in class 8 on 14th August, 2018 to help students expand their vocabulary in a spirit of camaraderie. The competition was held in all the classrooms of class 8 supervised by the class teachers.
Scrabble is a tested tool for improving vocabulary, strengthening memory and teaches strategy formation. It is a tool to painlessly usher children to read more and remember new words in order to win the game! The squeals of delight in the classroom are a pleasure to hear as children triumphantly find a fit for a word they have learnt. They also seek to find and learn up words that will fetch them the maximum points. It becomes learning in entertainment- edutainment. [gallery link="file" order="DESC"]
The students cheered with joy when the results were announced. Class VIII B got the highest scores followed by VIII E.
