Classes 11 and 12 students present a business idea at CBSE Skill Expo & Guidance Festival 2024

Students of The Indian School, Kayna Aggarwal (XI), Tanishka Khandelwal (XI), Palak Garg (XI) and Madhav Sharma (XI), had the opportunity to attend the "Skill Expo & Guidance Festival 2024", a regional event for Delhi (East) & Delhi (West) conducted by CBSE on 26 December 2024 at Mehta Vidyalaya Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, on K.G. Marg.

The event was an excellent platform for students to showcase their creative solutions to real-world problems, fostering a spirit of innovation, entrepreneurship, and sustainability. The innovative students of our School presented a groundbreaking idea on paper soaps made from agro-waste by the company "Paper Pure". They got the opportunity to present their ideas, receive valuable feedback from esteemed judges, and learn from industry experts and peers, which helped them refine their concept and think critically about its implementation.

The workshop also featured interactive sessions, exhibitions, and displays of innovative projects, which provided a unique learning experience, allowing them to explore new technologies and understand the importance of teamwork, communication, and problem-solving. Moreover, they got to learn about new and innovative products, such as eco-friendly packaging materials, sustainable textiles, cutting-edge technologies, and environmentally friendly alternatives to plastic, which broadened their knowledge, sparked new ideas, and inspired them to think creatively about solving real-world problems. The event also provided a great networking opportunity, allowing them to connect with like-minded individuals, share their experiences, and learn from others.

The event was well-organised, with a clear agenda and timely transitions between sessions. The judges and mentors provided constructive feedback, which helped them to identify areas for improvement and refine their ideas. Overall, the event was a huge success, and the students returned with renewed enthusiasm, new skills, and valuable insights that will help them in their future endeavours.
