Confluence 2012.
On 7 November, 2012, 12 students and 2 teachers, Ms. Sangita Verma and Ms. Sunita Singh boarded the Garibrath Express for Lucknow to attend CONFLUENCE 2012.
We reached our destination, to be welcomed in the traditional way with garlands at the station and were escorted to our venue, which was the City Montessori School. We could hardly believe our eyes because the campus was much larger than what we had imagined. Our rooms were extremely spacious and comfortable.

After quickly freshening up, we assembled the opening ceremony of the Annual Day. The school presented vibrant and colourful dances, and soon CONFLUENCE 2012 was declared open.
The next 3 days were extremely eventful. A competition for designing a world flag, debate, theatre, magical fingers etc. We are proud and happy to announce that our Yubin Oh and Naman Sharma of class 7 took the first prize in the Junior event, Magical Fingers. This entailed a painting on Peace to be made without the use of brushes.
Confluence 2012 was not just fun but a learning experience of creativity, teamwork, discipline and dedication. The haunting notes of a song we heard repeatedly at the confluence, Teaching peace all around the world continuously played in our minds as we boarded the train back to Delhi. We shall not forget the experience in a long time.
