On 11 August,2017 our School participated in the Delhi Zonal Junior Group Debate held at the Veer Chander Singh Garhwali Government Sarvodhaya Bal VIdyalaya, Saket. Chirag Saxena of class 8-E participated in the event. The topic for the debate was Impact of internet on students. There were many schools that participated in this event. Chirag performed well by debating in support of the good effects of the internet on students. He was appreciated and applauded by the audience. The results of the competition are awaited.
The competition sought to bring out the best in the students by giving them a platform to articulate their views. The enthusiastic participation proved that even young children have informed and independent opinions and dont hesitate to put express them.
It was delightful to see the students communicate their arguments very convincingly. Such competitions are very helpful as they help students gain confidence and increase their awareness about many things.
