The Directorate of Education's Zone 23 organised its annual prize distribution on 29th January 2017 at the Ishani SKV School, Saket. It was an honour for our students to be recognised at such an important event. Ms. Sahodra Pawaiya, sports' teacher accompanied students, Harshini Ramakrishnan (XII C) and Raghav Kapur (XII C) to the venue.
The well-appointed function started with an invocation to Lord Ganesha. Chief guest, DDE Ms. Renu Sharma and other special invitees then lit the traditional lamp. This was followed by a variety of colourful dance and music performances.
The much awaited prize distribution began with the members schools being called, by turn, on stage to be felicitated. Our school won 8 trophies for throw ball, badminton, judo and chess among others.
After the numerous awardees were handed their recognitions, the chief guest proposed a vote of thanks to conclude the occasion.
A momentous day for our deserving young sportsmen and women!
