The K.R. Mangalam World School, G.K-II, organised a English literary fiesta, Eloquence, on 28 July 2017. The event which was held for classes II to XII offered multifarious activities to entreat the creative and scholastic skills of students.
The ceremony commenced with the traditional lighting of the lamp followed by a welcome address by Principal, Ms. Alka Awasthi. The competition was divided into four events namely: Exhomania, Tryst with Shakespeare, Tramedy and Hot Pursuit.
Our students from classes II-V participated in the events, Exhomania and Tryst with Shakespeare. It was indeed a pleasure to see the young ones to exhibit their flourish.
For Tramedy and Hot Pursuit, participants were to present a mix of tragedy and comedy, the participants of Hot Pursuit were required to reinterpret the titles of famous literary classics in a comic way. It was a treat to watch young participants awe the audience!
[gallery link="file" order="DESC"]The event saw the participation of more than 27 schools of Delhi and NCR. The panel of judges included writers.
The performers were appreciated by the judges and audience. The judges also shared valuable feedback on the performances of the participants.
Our team took the third prize for Hot Pursuit.
