Inter-class drama in class 6
On 9th May, 2017 students of class VI took part in an inter- class drama competition. The aim of this exercise was to develop drama skills, articulation, co-ordination and team work skills among students. All 5 sections put up the play, Peter Pan, which is also a section in the English literature reader at the level.
The students were divided into groups within each section. Some opted to act, others preferred to help write the script and the dialogues, yet others did the planning and stage set-up. The background music and the costumes made the competition more thrilling.

Each section presented their act on stage within the parameters and rules given. They were judged on distinct aspects like acting, art, special effects, stage set up, costumes, articulation, etc. It was very heartening to see the rich effort of every group. The PPTs which provided for the back drop were exceptionally effective.
The judges included Ms. Poonam Thapan, Ms. Priya Manchanda and Ms. Suhina Roshangar, language teachers, who spontaneously applauded the performances.
Class VI-D was declared the winning section, VI-C stood second followed by VI-E, which stood third. It was indeed a wonderful show.
