Inter school computer event -CODE 2019
CODE 2019 a computer symposium was held by Apeejay School, Noida on 25 July 2019. The symposium commenced with a welcome address by Ms Rina Singh, principal of the host school. It was attended by almost 25 schools of Delhi and the NCR. Students participated in various events like programming, quiz, digital imaging, DJ mixing and photography.
Gunveer Singh and Arya Khanna of Class XI participated in the IT quiz. The Code++ programming event saw Darsh Verma and Pranav Singh of class XII do coding with the help of software such as Sublime Text , C++,G++ and Python. The event was held in the senior domain and the duration was one hour.
Gunveer Singh of class XI participated in challenging Gaming Console where peripherals such as own controllers, keyboards, mouse and headphones were allowed.
Gaurav Kumar and Chitrak Kala of class XII participated in Web Designing. The topic was given on the spot to all the teams. No internet access was provided to the competing teams. They were to design the page using HTML, CSS, Java Script and Jquery
Divij Sharma and Yajush from class XII participated in the photography event. Teams were allowed to click random pictures on the school campus. Only soft editing was allowed. Participants were told to bring their own camera, laptop and pen drive.
Karamjot Singh of class XI showcased his talent in DJ Mixing. Software allowed was FL Studio and time given was one hour. Samples for DJ Mixing were provided to the teams on the spot. The teams had carried their own headphones.
