Investiture Ceremony 2024-25

The Indian School Investiture Ceremony for the session 2024-25, held on 4 May 2024, marked a significant moment as the new student leaders were entrusted with their responsibilities to lead the School and set examples for others to follow. Adorned with the esteemed presence of luminaries such as Ms Madhavi Diwan, former Assistant Solicitor General of India, alongside Principal, Ms Tania Joshi, Vice Principal, Dr Anu Singh, Head Teacher-Primary, Ms Vandana Tiwari, PTA Representative, Ms Tina Kapoor and the proud parents of the council members, the event commenced with a gracious welcome extended to all in attendance.

A serene ambience enveloped the assembly as the harmonious rendition of the Ganesh Vandana reverberated, casting a spell of tranquility upon the surroundings. After the melodious musical presentation, Ms Madhavi Diwan, in her eloquent discourse on leadership, illuminated the path forward, accentuating the pivotal roles of mentorship and inspiration in shaping the leaders of tomorrow. This was succeeded by Principal, Ms Tania Joshi's address, where she further elucidated the School vision and encouraged the newly invested student council members to uphold the values of integrity, diligence and service to the School community.

The investiture ceremony began, symbolising a seamless transition of leadership as the student council of 2023-24 passed on the baton to the council of 2024-25. This marked the formal initiation of the newly anointed student council members, who were adorned with badges and sashes in a dignified manner, signifying their ascent to positions of authority and responsibility. With each member of the student council radiating confidence and determination, they stepped forward to embrace their roles as custodians of The Indian School legacy, embarking on a journey marked by integrity, diligence and  commitment.

In a solemn moment of reverence, the newly invested council members pledged their allegiance, vowing to uphold the cherished values and principles of The Indian School with steadfast dedication. The oath was administered by Head Girl, Unnati Mishra. The event touched its pinnacle with the stirring rendition of the School song by the School choir, a harmonious celebration of unity and spirit that resonated through the hall, stirring emotions and igniting a sense of pride among all attendees.

In conclusion, the compères extended heartfelt gratitude to the esteemed guests, proud parents, and the dedicated members of the PTA. The parents were then graciously invited to join for tea and refreshments, creating an atmosphere of warmth and camaraderie, further fostering a sense of community and celebration.
