Kaleidoscope 2015
Our School participated in Kaleidoscope 2015an annual inter-school painting competition organised by Partnerships for Action in Education (PACE) and the Hindustan Times at India Gate on 1st December 2015.
The programme began with a rendition of patriotic songs. These were performed on bagpipes and drums. The competition was divided into junior and senior categories. There were two topics for the Juniors - A Car Free Day and Stay Healthy, Stay Happy while the Seniors' topics included The Power of Yoga and Global Warming is Global Warning.
Four students from our School, Gauhar Gupta (VI), Aanvi Chauhan (VI), Khushi Kedia (VII) and Mehul Tandon(VIII) participated in the competition. The children were provided with sheets and told to use any medium they desired. The students immediately got to work unfolding delightful pieces of artwork relating to the topics. The teachers who accompanied the students were also kept busy with rangoli designs especially incorporating colour.
The entries were judged by eminent visual artist Nupur Kundu and painter- writer, Bulbul Sharma. It turned out to be a wonderful learning experience.
