Large school level events play an important role in achievements because it often spurs students to strive for excellence. Sasmit Dev of class 9 and Debarpan Koley of class 10 participated in a Mega Quiz held by Zee Entertainment on 5 April 2019 at the Airforce Auditorium, Dhaula Kuan. The event was designed exclusively for classes 6 to 10.
The programme commenced with a quiz titled 'Mind Wars'. The idea to conduct a quiz involving students from the entire country was conceived by Punit Mishra, Director, Xpress Minds, Ashish Sehgal, CEO Domestic Broadcast Business and Kunal Savarkar, Chief Growth Officer and CEO Zee Entertainment.
Mind war is a platform for school kids to allow them to quiz against their peers on a national level. Such events enhance students confidence and improve their overall development.
The duration of the quiz was from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm and was conducted by Ms Seema Chari and Mr Kunal Savarkar. Schools from Delhi-NCR took part in the event. The quiz tested students general awareness and included questions from sports, entertainment, Science, History and Art.
The quiz was a learning opportunity and witnessed the lively and enthusiastic participation of students and was enjoyed by all.
