Novel entries at inter school event

The Indian School participated in Confluence – AFGJI Jamboree 2025, an inter-school event hosted by the Air Force Golden Jubilee Institute, Subroto Park, on 25 July 2025. The jamboree provided a dynamic platform for young learners to demonstrate creativity across disciplines — including art, technology, business innovation, and civic engagement.

Priyanshi Singh of class XI-B represented our School in the poster-making event on the theme, “Mental Health Matters”. Her entry, enriched with a compelling slogan, underscored the importance of emotional well-being and reflected both artistic finesse and social awareness.

A team comprising Garvit Chhabra and Prabhav Kemani (X-C), Navya Puri (X-A), Nalini ( XI-D), Mohini Kapoor (XII-B), and Dhruvi J. Jain (XII-D) participated in the nukkad natak competition on the theme of social justice: equality and inclusion. Their script, submitted online, qualified for the final round. The team’s live performance earned them a place among the top five, offering a powerful portrayal of social justice and inclusive citizenship.

In the event Behind the Brand, a business simulation challenge, students from class XI-C — Ishita Kapoor, Prachi Gaur, Gurkirat Kaur, and Naina Upreti — were tasked with developing a product under the theme “Health and Wellness Services”. Rising to the challenge, the team conceptualised Oxysense, a smartwatch designed to monitor oxygen levels and encourage proactive health management. Their presentation reflected a thoughtful blend of technological insight and strategic market positioning.

In the Bizthrive event, Divya Gupta, Gursimar Kaur Modi, and Saanvi Jawa of class XII-C presented EcoCush, a sustainable business concept that stood out for its innovation and social relevance. Their model focused on upcycling post-consumer balloon waste — both latex and mylar — into premium cushions and pillows. By employing techniques such as devulcanisation, the project aimed to reduce environmental harm, lower reliance on virgin materials, and promote rural skill development, all while delivering comfort with a conscience.

In the junior category event,  Deux Design, Ishanvi Halder and Sara Singh of class IV-A represented The Indian School in a historical campaign challenge rooted in ancient Rome. Responding to the prompt “Hannibal is at the Gates” (216 BCE), they crafted a civic campaign titled Voice of Rome, addressing public concerns and articulating a vision for national resilience. Their PowerPoint presentation was shortlisted for the second round, where they impressed the judges with a confident delivery and a well-executed role play. Ishanvi brought to life Gaius Terentius Varro, while Sara embodied Lucius Aemilius Paullus — the Roman consuls who led during the Battle of Cannae in 216 BCE.

The event brought together students from reputed schools across Delhi, fostering collaboration, creativity, and civic consciousness. Participation in Confluence reaffirmed The Indian School’s commitment to nurturing confident communicators, socially aware citizens, and innovative thinkers.
