Pre- School and Pre-primary visit the Traffic Park

An excursion to the Traffic Park was organised for classes PP and PS on 12th & 13th May respectively. The visit was not only educational but was also fun-filled. It introduced our little ones to basic road safety rules.

The children were excited to see the fabricated pedestrian pathways, signboards and traffic lights, a foot bridge etc which were all created in 'scale-down measure' to suit the heights of the little ones. The little visitors also got a chance to cross the foot bridge independently, steadily making it to the other side. A short film relating to traffic rules, in an animated form held their attention. It was a refreshing mix of education n entertainment, as we like calling it, edutainment! Last but not the least the children enjoyed cake and lemonade before boarding the buses back.

On the way back the children could be heard excitedly telling each other," I will tell mummy to use the seat belt at all times", " " Papa cannot drive on the yellow light" and " Papa should not drive at high speed"! We, teachers felt fulfilled!
