Pre school engages with peers at a school in Seoul

On 1 November 2022, the Pre schoolers of The Indian School connected online with Ms EunSu Jane Byun and her students at the Hyangsan Middle School, in Seoul, South Korea at 8 am IST.

The session commenced with a welcome song by our little Indianities for the guest across the screen. After the ice breaker, the educator narrated a folktale named Two Brothers which emphasised the values of sharing and caring. This was followed by a round of open ended questions such as When shifting to a new home, what would you take there?, How will you help your siblings to move home?, What will you do if you find extra food at home? etc. Our budding Indianites were prompt to volunteer thoughtful anwers in exuberance!

Next up were some questions from our children to the Korean educator. They asked her about her school and her country. The excitement was amplified when the little ones learned that both countries share the Tiger as their national animal!

The interaction concluded on a delightful note as the young delegates thanked their counterparts and bid farewell.
