PS and PP visit the National Museum of Natural History.

SINCE WE CANNOT KNOW ALL THAT IS TO BE KNOWN OF EVERYTHING, WE OUGHT TO KNOW A LITTLE OF EVERYTHING The Pre primary department visited the National Museum of Natural History on 26 and 27 August, 2015 for PP and PS respectively. We left School at 9 am and reached our venue by 9:45 am. The children were excited about what they were about to see. As we entered the first floor, the different habitat and landforms like the mountains, deserts etc. awaited us. Aryahi and Anika of PP were specially delighted to see the displays, so evident from their vivid expressions!

On the second floor we saw well-preserved forms of the different birds, aquatic animals, reptiles , insects, endangered and extinct species .Yug, Atharva,Shravya and Rishita appeared amused to see this and wanted to have a hands on-experience by feeling the animals! It was a joyful and a learning experience. One child of KG section even thanked his teacher for the excursion. Others could be heard exclaiming Wow, this is like a Zoo!. We, too were quite taken up by as the life-like exhibits and it certainly added to our ever growing repertoire of knowledge. Sadly it was time for us to return. Not only did the excursion add knowledge but also it added to the fun of travelling as a group. The children enjoyed talking about their experience about the visit to the museum in the bus as well as in the class afterwards.
