Quizebate 2019- Inter school quiz at Modern School

Knowledge is the only kind of wealth that multiplies when you give it away.

Keeping the above thought in mind, Maitreyi Purandare of Class IX, Sarvagya Puri of class X and Kartik Anand of Class XII participated in Quizebate 2019 held at Modern School, Vasant Vihar on 23 August 2019. The students were accompanied by teacher, Ms. Taniya Sutradhar. 12 prominent schools participated in the event.

The quiz was conducted by Quizmaster, Mr. Parnab Mukherjee, in a manner that enthralled the participants as well as the audience! The quiz was conducted in two rounds. The first round was a written one. Various questions on a variety of topics were given to the students to test them. OurSchool reached the semifinal and faced a tie breaker round against Mayo College Girls School, Ajmer in order to qualify for the final round. It was a close competition amongst very competent teams. All participants were handed participation certificates.
