The Indian School believes in the holistic development of students. To encourage the pursuance of excellence as a way of life, our School has instituted recognition awards for scholastic achievement, all round accomplishment, computers, art, drama, music, dance and sports. Recognition is conferred on students with 100 percent attendance, for excellence in individual subjects and marked improvement in academic performance. Also, students who bring accolades to the School by winning scholarships at national and international sports events receive certificates of recognition and scholarships.

Chairman Mr Prafull Goradia presented the first award of the day. He commented on a lighter note that he always enjoyed giving away prizes to young achievers, since he had never won one himself! The awardees represent excellence in their respective fields and set a benchmark for others to emulate.

The ceremony ended with the School song. It was a proud day for all the teachers, the awardees and their dear parents.
