Extravaganza 2017

The students of our School participated in EXTRAVAGANZA 2017 held on 10th and 11th August at The Frank Anthony Public School, Delhi. The competition was open to the students of classes XI and XII only.

Extravaganza is a two-day festival comprising a wide range of events on diverse subjects. The various events were as follows: Day 1 1. Spectrum- An English Declamation competition 2. Just an idea- The participants had to prepare a speech on any topic relevant to current issue of Economics/Commerce.

3. Bull Vs Bears- This was a gaming event where participants were to replicate trading of securities like that in a securities' market.

4. Geofest-(A Play)-Participants had to choose a theme from the given three topics and express their thoughts as a play. The topics were: Importance of water, Save water and Pollution and its effects. 5. Colour Fest- This involved clay modelling. The participants were to craft a sculpture on the topic, 'Women Empowerment'. 6. Symbiosis-(Science Quiz) 7. Compfest-A programming and Debating event

Day 2 1. Deepshikha (Hindi Debate) 2. Polfest (Junior Parliament)- The topic was GST: A blunder or wonder 3. Soc Talk- This included a street play which could generate awareness about social,cultural and economic problems of our society

4. History Fest- The event under this category was Model making and the theme was the Harappan civilisation. The topics for model making were: Dwelling bath, Great bath, Pillared halls and granaries.

5. Mathmeet- This was a mathematical model making competition where a model had to be presented on any mathematical principle.
