Roles reversed on Teachers' Day!

A teacher takes a hand, opens a mind and touches a heart."

On 1st September 2017, as customary, the students of class XII got their prize turn to play teachers to their juniors on the occasion of Teachers' Day.

We students, dressed smartly and armed with books and teaching aids took on timetables as allocated to us by our ' Principal'.

Each class was unique in its own way, with its own set of bright and naughty, quiet and restive students. Dealing with the class as a whole therefore, represented a challenge!

We wondered how our teachers accomplish their schedules every day. We were filled with awe for our teachers who not only teach the syllabus but help us discover ourselves. They turn us from random little sailboats into steady and focussed ' ocean liners' ready, equally, for calm and stormy seas.

It was a unique and precious experience to become teachers for a day. We taught but in the end we learnt much more than what we taught!
