Sanskrit Day celebration
Sanskrit is known as Dev Vani or Sur Bharati. It is not only an important language of India but is also the oldest language in the world. It is a symbol of India's civilisation and golden history.
To carry forward the rich legacy of the language and to arouse interest in the students for it, activities were conducted on 4 September, 2023. Vasudev Awasthi of class VII E recited five verses from the sixth chapter, and Simar Arora of class VII E recited five verses from the twelfth chapter of the Shrimad Bhagwad Geeta.
6th chapter

These lines mean that Yogis who have conquered the mind, rise above the dualities of cold and heat, joy and sorrow, and honour and dishonour. Such yogis remain peaceful and steadfast in their devotion to God.
12th chapter
These lines are an enquiry of Arjun who asks Lord Krishna, 'Between those who are steadfastly devoted to Your personal form and those who worship the formless Brahma, whom do You consider to be more perfect in Yog?'
Through her speech, Sakshi Saini of class VIII E described the sweetness of the state of Gujarat, its language, cuisine and the characteristics of its temples.
Kavya Joshi of class VII E gave at character portrayal of celebrated social worker Pandita Ramabai of Maharashtra who contributed immensely to the field of women's education.
