School Health and Wellness Quiz ( written round)
"Wellness is the complete integration of mind, body and spirit-the realisation that everything that we do, think, feel and believe, has an effect on our stage of well being"- Greg Anderson
Taking forward the above idea, a championship series aimed at harmonising existing initiatives in school education, which include life skills, values and physical education; an innovative inter school programme was organised by Expressions India. The program came in tandem with the evolving national programme and policy for the promotion of health and wellness education in schools.
Three students (Raghavendra Singh Gulia10-c, Aashna Khanna11-b and Anshika Sharma 11-e) represented our School participated in the written round at Summer Field School, Kailash Colony on 21 August, 2018. Along with us, were teams from KR Mangalam, GK-2, APS Delhi Cantt. and Summer Field School Kailash Colony.

A questionnaire consisting of 100 questions was provided to all the teams by the organisers who also explained the instructions. We were given and hour to churn our thought-wheels to respond to the questions. The questions related to drug abuse, puberty, peer pressure, general awareness etc. The questions were very intriguing and exciting. For the majority of the questions, the three of us agreed on the same answer options. However we had divergent opinions, it was challenging. Nevertheless we dealt with the problem and tried to resolve by thinking rationally for such questions.
We submitted our responses within the time frame. We were quizzed about the experience by the representatives of the organisers.
We all found the experience a thought provoking and a learning filled one.
