Students of classes IV and V conducted a special assembly on Friday 24 July, 2015 in the auditorium. The comperes for the programme were Keshav Gupta of VE and Eeran Hutum of VC.
The programme began with Alisha of VE reciting a poem on How nice I am followed by a soulful piece of music played on the keyboard by Hardik Gogia of VD. Next, Gyatri Munjal of VE sang I have a dream...
The highlight of the assembly was still to come! It was a presentation by Ibrahim and Gurnoor of VB. Ibrahim ably mimicked rhythmic sounds with his vocal chords and Gurnoor played an improvised version of the tabla, using a steel plate, a china plate, a hand brush and a stick! The unique jagalbandi was vigorously applauded by all! In fact the performers received special special appreciation from Ms. Neena Maini for creativity and innovation!
A Hindi song revering Parents was sung by Manasi of IVA ( "Ye to saach hai"). Kavya of VB rendered a classical song based on Raag Bhopali followed by a Hindi group song " Kisi ki muskurahato pe ho nissar presented by Archit Tiwari and Pratyaksh of VE, Shaumita and Kartavya of VA and Nakul of VD.
Aadya Sharma of VD spoke about Discipline and Respect to be observed by all students in their day to day lives. Dhruv of VD strummed the guitar and finally Bhuvi Kashyap of VE enthralled everyone by playing the harmonium and singing Jago Mohan Jago. Report prepared by Ms. Purnima Dwivedi.
