Special Assembly on Endangered Animals by class 3D

On 20 September 2023, the students of class III-D presented an enlightening assembly on the theme Endangered and Extinct Animals.

The assembly commenced with a lively and engaging skit. Through a series of rhyming dialogues, the young actors painted vivid pictures of endangered and extinct animals. They brilliantly brought these creatures to life using animal-themed props and headgear, allowing the audience to connect with the animals and their struggles like loss of habitat due to deforestation, poaching, pollution, climate change etc.

Not only were the problems faced by these animals depicted, but also practical solutions to help them like protecting their habitats, framing laws against poaching, helping with climate change and creating awareness, were also proposed. Their approach to addressing issues related to our wildlife was not only inspiring but also thought provoking. The audience was treated to a delightful sight as students transformed into animals like tigers, pandas and dodos, that have faced endangerment or extinction over time!

Following the skit, the students actively involved the audience by asking questions related to the showcased animals. This interactive session encouraged the students to share their knowledge about endangered and extinct species, fostering a sense of participation and enthusiasm among the spectators.

The most exciting part of the assembly was when the students sang a heartfelt and catchy song that emphasised the importance of saving endangered species. A video presentation was played in the background to make it even more enjoyable.

The assembly was a reminder to all of us that we share this planet with a diverse range of creatures and it is our responsibility to protect and preserve them for future generations.
