On the morning of July 31, 2024, class 2E conducted a delightful and gratifying School assembly on the theme "Friendship is Precious". The assembly aimed to celebrate and emphasise the value of friendship in our lives, showcasing how true friends enrich and support one another.
The assembly commenced with a brief introduction by the narrator, who spoke about how precious and priceless friendship is. It offers support, joy and companionship. The bouquet of friendships are decorated by trust, kindness and shared experiences.
After the introduction, the students recited a short, heartfelt poem titled "Friendship is Precious". The poem conveyed the essence of true friendship, expressing how friends are like treasures that bring happiness and comfort into our lives. The poem's touching verses resonated with the audience, setting the tone for the rest of the assembly.
Moving further, the students presented a creative role play titled "The Recipe of Friendship Soup". In this engaging skit, the characters illustrated the various ingredients needed to make for the perfect friendship, namely trust, happiness, kindness and understanding. These were depicted, showing how each element contributes to build and maintain strong friendships. The role play was both entertaining and educational, vividly demonstrating the qualities that make friendship special.
To conclude the assembly, the students and the audience joined for a lively dance performance to the popular song "Friends". The energetic dance, filled with joyful moves and cheerful expression, celebrated the spirit of friendship and showcased the essence of the theme.
The audience was enthralled by the wonderful performance and appreciated them to echo the tune of friendship.
