Special assembly on Republic Day by Pre school

The 71st Republic Day was celebrated in all its solemnity and grandeur by the students of Pre-school and Pre-primary. A special assembly was held by PS-AGENA, PS- HERCULE and PS-CAPELLA on 24th January, 2020.

The assembly started with the children by turn saying a few lines on the importance of the Constitution of India and how it came into force on 26 January 1950.

The students took pride in glorifying and celebrating the spirit of unity and brotherhood. Hitakshi Thakur, Ransh Ranjan, Brahmjot Kaur, Aayan Ghai, Aarav Pratihari, Aarsheen Kaur, Riaan Bansal, Akshaj Garg, Anaira Taneja, Tysha Jain, Ayaan Sultan and Avantika presented a dance to a medley of patriotic songs. The melodious music and graceful movements of the dancers left the audience overcome!

Next the students took a pledge to be good citizens of the country. Aaryahi Chamoli, Hitan Saini, Ronak, Aarav Loat, Anjana Bera, Aaradhya, Rigyang, Manvit Arora, Yashraj, Daksh Sumrani, Kaavya, Zohaan Akhter, Yanvi Anand, Jiaansh Lavasa and Tia Silelal then sang a patriotic song to remind each one of our duties towards our motherland. The children vowed to serve the nation and work for its welfare and development.

Next, students explained the significance of the tricolour with rhyme. The children observed silence for two minutes as tribute to the soldiers who laid down their lives fighting for independence.

The assembly ended with the tiny tots singing the famous song "Nanha Munha Rahi Hoon". The auditorium echoed with patriotic fervour as the students sang in vigour. The young faces shone with pride and patriotic fervour.\
