Story Read Aloud session by TIMES NIE

Our School gives opportunities to the children to connect with the wider world and acquire holistic learning.

On 30 November 2019, TIMES NIE invited children in the age group of 3-7 years to participate in a reading session of story books written by Miss Trishla Jain. The session which lasted an hour was held on the lush Margosa Lawn of The India Habitat Centre. Ten students of class I represented our School at the session. They were accompanied by their teacher, Ms Shweta Arora.

Eminent content curator, presenter and entrepreneur, Ms Shivani Wazir Pasrich, conducted the session and read out stories to the children. She then narrated an impactful story titled Tankful to Thankful which focused on inculcating the habit of saying Thank You. The session was highly enriching and thoroughly enjoyed by the children. It was followed by a contest on How to say Thank You in different languages.

Upon returning to School, the excited children shared their experiences with their peers. They were observed saying thank you to their friends in the different ways they had learnt that day. It was truly an edutaining experience for them!
