Our School participated in the Annual Inter School "Tag Fest 2017" at Tagore International School, East of Kailash on 30th August 2017. 8 students represented our School in the various events.
1) Doodling for classes 6 to 8 2) Canvas shoes' painting for classes 9 and 10 3) Soliloquy for classes 9 and 10 4) Charcoal drawing for classes 11 and 12 5) Creator and the Creation for classes 11 and 12
The following students participated in the above categories- Disha Deb (VIII), Shreya Palit (IX), Urvi Beswal (IX), Anoushka Basu (IX), Mitali Nanda (XI), Utkarsh Pandey, Priyansh Aggrawal & Akshat Sharma (XI).
Mitali Nanda of class 11- E received the Special Award for Charcoal drawing. Charcoal drawings continued to be made through the 19th and 20th centuries and now in the 21st century. Charcoal tends to favour broad, vigorous draftsmanship with an emphasis on mass and movement rather than on linear precision. The topic for the charcoal category was "Will O Wisp of the mind". The drawing had to be done with a charcoal stick or charcoal pencils. The criteria for judgment were technical skill, form, authenticity and relevance to theme.
