To upgrade the physical education teachers with enhanced skills of lesson planning, a workshop was organised by the CBSE Centre of Excellence, on 16 November 2022. It was conducted by Dr Vineet Mehta, Director of Physical Education at the Shri Ram College of Commerce, University of Delhi. Dr Mehta is an expert in the field and has conducted innumerable workshops for university students and faculties in the fields of Health and Physical Education.
Lesson planning contributes to successful learning outcomes for the learners and educators. Dr Mehta not only elaborated upon the significance of lesson planning, but also emphasised educator pedagogy and planning, space management and social-personal responsibility.
Teachers received an exposure to several teaching strategies and directions to be practiced in actual situations.
